Intertwined wire-rope panels

Interwoven wire-rope panels are made with galvanized steel rope of 10 mm in diameter (114 wires + textile core) in various sizes, and usually with 250-mm square meshes obtained by opening the rope with an appropriate device and inserting alternatively first the horizontal rope into the vertical one and then the vertical rope into the horizontal one.
The ends of both the vertical and the horizontal ropes are finished with a loop provided with a galvanized thimble and a clamped aluminium sleeve; the loop and thimble hold the perimetrical wire rope of 16 or 18 mm in diameter with a steel core (133 wires with steel core), which is itself locked by means of suitably clamped aluminium sleeves.
The panel of this construction, coupled with the galvanized net with hexagonal meshes and with the braking systems, is ready for installation on the uprights of the barrier.
The ropes used are galvanized and meet UNI 7292-74 Standard, with a tensile strength of the individual wires of 180 daN/mm2 and 200 daN/mm2.
